　　Autumn is a harvest season. Last Friday and Saturday we had a special sports meeting. I said it was special because it was the last sports meeting for us in the middle school. So everything seemed to be better and everyone looked happier during the sports meeting.

　　There were many activities in the sports meeting, like long jump, high jump, relay race, shot-pot and so on. I took great interest in the 1,500-metre race. I thought no matter what the result would be, the spirit must be spoken highly of by everyone.

　　My good friend Ann also took part in the sports meeting. But she did badly in it. I began to worry about her. However, she said, “That doesn’t matter. Although I didn’t win, I’m also the best, aren’t I?” I was surprised at her words, but that was really true.

　　At the closing ceremony, the headmaster said, “Well done! My children. In this sports meeting, all of you are the winners!”

　　With these words, the sports meeting ended, but the beautiful memory will last long.
